Located in the small coastal community of Himatangi beach in the North Island of New Zealand is Aotearoa’s first spirulina farm. Grown in purpose-built shallow ponds, our algae are fed salts and water and harvested in heartlands Manawatu. We’ve combined the quality and taste of the French artisan production model with New Zealand excellence in food innovation and safety to present you with quite possibly the purest, most beautiful spirulina in the world.

During our awesome couple days at the Go Green Expo in Welly and at the Magic of Christmas Night Market, we offered free tastings of the non-powdered version of our NZ grown spirulina.
And you just couldn’t get enough of it! The crunchiness, the flavour (earthy, nutty, yum you said), the delight of being able to munch on spirulina sprinkles straight from the bowl was just magic. No blending or mixing needed, this is spirulina goodness straight from the pouch.
Imagine it like this- spirulina sprinkles brings you one step closer to the source because we omit the grinding process (kind of like coffee beans instead of coffee grounds).
